9/21/21. Day before Mabon

For those of you who don't know what Mabon is, it is the autumn equinox or the start of autumn. It is a pagan holiday celebrating the last harvest of the season ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿง…๐Ÿง„. Back in the day, the people were getting ready for winter, putting the last harvest up and drying the meats๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ—. The feast on Mabon was full of the foods that were gathered during that period. They thanked the gods and goddesses of that time for what was given to them.

Today we celebrate with big feasts but we, in modern times, don't need to put away foods or dry meats. We have stores we can go to ๐Ÿ˜Š. I will not be celebrating with a big feast as I will be in the truck. I will be quietly celebrating with prayer, intention, and gratitude for all I have in my life.

We are on our way to Florida ๐Ÿ–. This seems to be the run we are on the most. Mondays and Tuesdays are not bad, we are basically sitting for a full day. It's the rest of the week that is the hurry up and wait. You would think that we could sleep during the loading and unloading times but we can't. The forklifts are running in and out of the trailer and at times will thrash the truck back and forth.

It is nice to watch the world go by and see the scenery. I can pretty much entertain myself with stuff but I still get bored ๐Ÿ˜ด.

Thanks for reading until next time
